Are your Carry Me Belly Bands suitable for post partum as well as pregnancy?
Our Carry Me Belly Bands have been medically endorsed for use during pregnancy.

The maternity waistbands and high waistbands on our Ultra & Revolution range offer amazing comfort and light compression around the mid section and are highly recommend for post-partum support.

These waistbands have been endorsed for post-partum use by a Women’s Health Physiotherapist.

The Carry Me Belly Band can be used postpartum, but we recommend it’s use
for light support only. We do not endorse this band as a waist trainer/reducer.

I have been sent the wrong size Birthing Ball.  What can I do?
We have a robust inventory control procedure in place to ensure the correct size ball gets dispatched every time.  However, the ball can often seem too small on it’s first inflation so here are a few tips to help get it to the correct height:

  1. As it is anti-burst, the skin of the ball is quite thick and can be really firm and hard when first inflated.  It does take some time to get it to soften and stretch so we recommend inflating to about 80% of it’s height and letting it sit for 24 hours at room temperature or warmer (keeping out of direct sunlight).  After it has had a chance to rest, it can then be inflated further.
  2. The ball stretches a lot more than it looks like it can so we do recommend
pumping, pumping and pumping some more (it’s a real workout sorry!!) until it reaches the correct height.  The skin of the ball should be taught without any wrinkles, and should be firm to sit on (not spongey or soft and sinky).  It will expand a bit like a balloon when air is pumped in.
  3. If you hear air escaping from the inflation hole when youre pumping air
in, this means the air is escaping faster than it is going in and not
necessarily that it has reached full capacity.  You’ll need to pump faster but it’s a really effective way of increasing the size of the ball.
  4. The pump provided can do the job, but if you have access to an air bed
mattress pump or bike pump but that has the same nozzle size, we recommend using this instead as it is a far more effective way to inflate the ball saving you time and energy.
  5. The size of the ball is based on it’s height. The easiest way to measure
is to place the fully inflated ball against a wall and mark with a light
pencil where the top sits.  Remove the ball from the wall then measure
the height in centimeters from the ground straight up to the light pencil mark.

Give these tips a go and if youre still having no luck, please feel free to contact us with your order details and a photo of your ball and we will do our best to help.

Is your sizing the same for all activewear and swimwear?

We recommend reviewing the sizing guide as well as individual product descriptions for any sizing recommendations. When is the best time to start wearing maternity clothing?
This comes down to personal preference but we will say this: maternity wear is a game changer!

As you grow throughout pregnancy, your existing clothes may start to feel
too tight or become uncomfortable to wear.  This is usually the best
time to invest in clothing designed for maternity.  Many of our pieces are designed to be worn throughout pregnancy and beyond so you can start
choosing pieces that will carry you through your post-partum journey
during your pregnancy too.

Clothing designed specifically
for use throughout your maternity journey can offer support and comfort
without compromising style and practicality.   We have often received
feedback from our lovely Mamas saying they wish they had tried maternity
wear earlier in their pregnancy or with previous pregnancies – it definitely helps make life more comfortable, manageable and convenient and let’s face it, who doesnt love a little extra help with #mumlife!

What sort of bra do you recommend for pregnancy?
All of our bras are designed and suitable for pregnancy.  They include features such as adjustable straps, extra wide back hook/latches and all-elasticated under bust bands to ensure optimum
comfort, support and room to grow.

We understand how difficult it can be to know (and keep up with!) your bust size as sizing often fluctuates throughout pregnancy and once your babies arrive.  We have a detailed sizing guide
available so you can find your perfect fit.  We also offer a range of bras that can support you in any level of exercise intensity on your journey.

What fabrics are used in your clothing?
We aim to use a range of sustainable fabrics such as cotton and recycled polyester where we can.

The fabric composition for each product is detailed in their product description.
